Serie A champions Napoli have provided an injury update on their Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen left training early on Tuesday after spraining his ankle during a practice match.
The 24-year-old didn’t train with his teammates on Wednesday as he continues recovery from the injury.
The striker received treatment on the injury, according to the club.
“Anguissa did therapy and personalized training at the gym. Therapies for Osimhen,”reads a statement on the club’s official website. READ ALSO:

The Partenopei will continue to assess the player as they continue preparation for the new season.
Napoli will travel to Frosinone for their opening game of the season on August 17.
