Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has resumed training with Saudi Arabia club, Al Nassr after spending over a month on the sidelines as a result of injury.
Musa copped the injury in Al Nassr’s 1-0 away win against Al Fateh on Friday, August 31st.
He was replaced by Fahad Bin Jumayah a minute before the hour mark with his knee heavily bandaged by the club’s medical team.
The 27-year-old has made only two appearances for the Saudi League Champions this season.
Al Nassr posted a picture of Musa on their official Twitter handle running around the pitch with a fitness coach on Tuesday night.
Musa, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Monday, missed Nigeria’s two friendlies against Ukraine and Brazil as a result of the injury.
He is now in contention for a place in Nigeria’s squad for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin and Lesotho next month.
