More stakeholders are gradually disengaging themselves from the leadership of the Amaju Pinnick- led Nigeria Football Federation, as the former General Secretary of the Federation, Barrister Musa Amadu on Wednesday turned in his letter of resignation as the Chairman of the NFF Disciplinary Committee.
Barrister Amadu who did not give any reason for his action, however thanked the NFF President, whom he addressed the letter to, for giving him the opportunity to serve in the committee.
“The committee under my leadership has handled a multiple of cases with unblemished record, intergrity, and transparency with plaudits from all football stakeholders desirous of moving our local league forward and Nigeria Football in general” he concluded in the letter dated 6th July, 2022 and received in the President Office same day by 2.47pm.
When contacted on telephone why he resigned as the Chairman of the Committee, just two weeks to end the 2021/2022 NPFL season, the former NFF Scribe said “I resigned based on personal reason and for the interest of football.
“We cannot continue to pretends if all is well when we all know that football is at the receiving end”
