Nigeria winger, Victor Moses is in cloud nine after opening his goal account for Fenerbahce in their Turkish Super Lig clash against Goztepe on Friday night and hopes to score more goals for the club.
Moses, 28, recently completed an 18-month loan move to Fenerbahce from English Premier League outfit, Chelsea.
The former Crystal Palace star netted Fenerbahce’s second goal of the game in the 73rd minute after coming on as a substitute four minutes after the hour mark.
He brilliantly beat his marker, gave a clever pass to Jailson before getting on the end of the Brazilian’s return pass to open his goal account for Fenerbahce.
The hosts took the lead in the seventh minute courtesy of a fine strike by Ghanaian international Andre Ayew.
The game was Moses’ second appearance for Fenerbahce after making his debut against Yeni Malatyaspor, coming on for Yassine Benzia in the 66th minute.
“I’m very happy to score my first goal for the team. I hope I can score more goals. We will continue to work hard. There is quality in the team and everyone work very well,” Moses Fenerbahce’s official website after the game.
“Everyone is showing me great love, very good support. I can feel it when I’m in the field. I want to help my team and contribute. We showed a great character. Tonight we saw how happy everyone was.”
