A 27-year-old man, Salim Garba has been arraigned at a Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing his employer’s property valued at over N850, 000.
Garba, a resident of Ungwan Dosa in Kaduna, is standing trial on a charge of stealing.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Chidi Leo, told the court that Garba on April 30 at Malali area of Kaduna, broke into his employer’s shop and stole some items.
Leo said that the defendant and two others at large stole three air conditions, a washing machine, a freezer and a micro wave all valued at N850,000.
He stated that the defendant was arrested after the CCTV recorded him in the act while his accomplices are still at large.
Leo said that the offence contravened the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.

Garba pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate Ibrahim Emmanuel, admitted the defendant to N250, 000 bail with two sureties in the like sum.
Emmanuel adjourned the case until June 18, for hearing.(NAN)
