Nosa Igiebor, Real Betis of Spain midfielder has expressed joy at his being recalled into Super Eagles squad after a long injury induced absence.
Speaking from his base in Spain Nosa, stated that it was harrowing experience he had all these months after the injury forced him out of the team after the African Nations Cup win in South Africa.
He expressed gratitude to God for his recovery from the injury that sidelined him for most of the second half of the last season stating that it was good to be back and in good shape.
Nosa, who was voted the man of the match in Real Betis 2-1 loss to Real Madrid last Sunday said he is ready to fight for a starting place in the team against Malawi.
“I missed the guys and I must say they have done very well in my absence and I am so glad that we are going to unite again for the Malawi match. I will to impress the coaches and see if I would make the team for match.
“I am grateful to coach Keshi, for recalling me to the team after a long absence. I would try to justify my invitation by doing well to beat Mali” he stated
On the world cup duel with Malawi Nosa said the Eagles would do everything to ensure they emerge victorious.
