Oyo State Governor Makinde of Oyo State has approved the appointment of some aides who would see to the running of the office of the Deputy Governor, Chief Adebayo Lawal.
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by Mr Taiwo Adisa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
Adisa said in the statement that the new appointees included Ajibade Hassan Adewumi, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Legal Matters; Nasiru Ayinde, Senior Special Assistant on Projects and Badmus Adesola, the Senior Special Assistant on Domestic.
Others were: Kehinde Joel, Senior Special Assistant, Online Media; Oyedeji Ahmed -Senior Special Assistant, Public Affairs; Mr Ajagbe Yusuff Senior Special Assistant, Political; Omolere Omoetan, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Adebayo Wahab, Senior Special Assistant (Administration).
Adusa said that the appointments, which took effect from Dec. 7, were conveyed in separate letters endorsed by Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun, the Secretary to the State Government.
According to him, the letter reads in part: “I am delighted to inform you that the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, has graciously approved your appointment.”
While congratulating the new appointees, the governor urged them to their appointments as a call to service.
“His Excellency, as well as the Government, expects that you will discharge your duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence,” Adisa quoted the letter as saying. (NAN)
