Gov Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed Prof Abiodun Ojo as the chairman of the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.
A statement issued on Friday evening by Moses Alao, the Special Assistant on Print Media to the Governor, indicated that Mr Rasheed Adegoke was equally appointed as Special Adviser on Migration and Homeland Security.
According to the statement, Ojo is a former Provost of the Tai Solarin College of Education while Adegoke is a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of Immigration.
The two appointments were announced in separate letters signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun.
Adeosun, who congratulated the two appointees, described their appointments as a call to service.
She said the appointments were with immediate effect.
Ojo is a professor of Education Evaluation and two-term Provost of the Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The newly-appointed Special Adviser on Migration and Homeland Security, Adegoke, has over 30 years leadership experience in the fields of national security, international law, border control and migration management. (NAN)
