Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman has scooped Atalanta’s Player of the Month award for September.
Lookman was recognised for his exemplary displays for Atalanta during the month under review.
The 26-year-old registered two goals and one assist for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side during the month.
The former Leicester City player scored and provided an assist in Atalanta’s 3-2 victory over Fiorentina.
Lookman was also on target in La Dea’s 3-2 loss to Como.
In the UEFA Champions League, he has scored one goal and provided one assist in two games.
On 4 August 2022, Lookman joined Serie A club Atalanta on 4th of August, 2022, on a four-year contract for a reported fee of €15 million.
Recall that he scored on his debut for the club, a 2–0 Serie A win over Sampdoria on 13 August.
In January 2023, he scored braces in three consecutive matches: a 8–2 Serie A win over Salernitana, a 5–2 Coppa Italia win over Spezia and a 3–3 Serie A draw to Juventus.
