Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman has said he is thinking of catching up with his international teammate, Victor Osimhen at the top of Serie A scorer’s chart.
Osimhen and Lookman have enjoyed a fine campaign for Napoli and Atalanta.
The duo are looking to become the first African to finish as the highest goal scorer in the history of the Italian top-flight.
Osimhen has so far scored 13 goals in 15 league appearances for the Napoli.
Lookman has netted 11 times in 19 league outings for Atalanta.
“I’m so focused on now. The now is the most important for me as to how I can affect today and tomorrow,” the 25-year-old told The Athletic.
“I used to think about the future, you can get caught up in the future and the future will always come but the now is the most important.”
“Nah, not when he (Osimhen) is above you, anyway.
“I will catch him,” he smiles. “Not I might, I will.”
