Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman has reflected on Atalanta’s big win over Empoli.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side trashed their hosts 5-0 at the Stadio Carlo Castellani-Computer Gross Arena on Sunday night.
Lookman scored a brace for La Dea in the encounter.
The result puts Atalanta within two points of second-placed Napoli and still in the Scudetto race.
The 27-year-old declared that they will keep fighting to win their subsequent games.
“The team won 5-0 today, we put in a good performance, everyone was at a high level and we showed quality,” he told DAZN.
“We take every game as they come. We played well today, we have to continue this way and prepare for the next.”
He has racked up 12 goals and five assists in 20 league appearances for Atalanta this season.
