Super Eagles forward, Terem Moffi has continued to receive accolades for his impressive scoring form for Lorient in the French Ligue 1 this season, reports Prompt News.
Moffi scored his 11th goal of the league season in Lorient’s 2-2 draw with Monaco on Wednesday at the Stade Yves Allainmat – Le Moistoir.
Moffi who lasted 85 minutes in the clash scored in the 77th minute following an assist from Dango Ouattara.
The Nigeria international is just two goals behind French star, Kylian Mbappe in second spot on the scorers chart, staying joint-second with Neymar as they have the same number of goals.
Applauding the feat by the 23-year-old, the league on their verified Twitter handle, Ligue 1 Uber Eats wrote on : “What an incredible start to the season from @7erem.”
Lorient are currently sixth on the league table and are pushing to play in Europe next season.
