Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice are locked in discussion with Lorient after submitting a new bid for the forward, reports Prompt News.
The Riviera club current offer is €30m including bonuses something that the Lorient management wanted.
According to French news outlet, footmercato, the two clubs are now working on the final details of the deal.
Nice had failed to meet Moffi’s valuation with their previous attempts.
Moffi has made it clear he wanted a move to Nice despite firm interest from Olympic Marseille and West Ham United.
The 23-year-old was left out of Lorient’s win against Rennes last week Friday.
Moffi has scored 12 goals for Les Merlus this season.
