Nigerians have been urged to trust God for a better country irrespective of the numerous challenges bedevilling the nation.
Senior Pastor “Help from Above Healing and Deliverance Ministry Worldwide” Godwin Ube made the call during his Sunday sermon in Abuja.
Pastor Ube who stressed that lot of Nigerians are Fed up with various happenings confronting the country, appealed to Nigerians to trust God and stop looking at the challenges.
“A lot of people are disappointed at the turn of things in the country, but we must all believe that hope is not lost. We must be optimistic and trust God for a better Nigeria,” he said.
Ube who declared that there was hope for a better Nigeria, cautioned against negatives perceptions that Nigeria could never work again.
“It is dangerous to give up on ourselves and the nation, We cannot risk that because this is the only country we have. We must keep hope alive,” he said.
The cleric encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast, declaring that “God, who brought us from yesterday into our today, will take us from our today into a tomorrow of answered prayers”.
“If not for God and prayers, there will have been no Nigeria today; there are nations that did not face half of what Nigeria has faced and are today in serious turmoil.
“We must be grateful to God at all times for life and peace because there is always something to be grateful to God for,” he said.
The Senior Pastor said that Nigerians must stop seeing problems but keep knocking the heavenly door for God to render succour to the nation.
“When God talk to you listen and obey, stop looking at the problems but trust by knocking the door and your Angel will visit. Your angel is coming because your best is yet to come and no power can stop it” Pastor Ube added.
He explained that Faith is such a critical necessity to the child of God and so it must be kept alive and kept healthy at all times and at all cost.
“It must be prevented from failing, When faith fails, it is like a major organ in the body failing – it is like heart, lung or kidney failure.
“A major achievement of the Christian journey is the keeping of the faith, keeping of the faith is necessary because a child of God depends on faith like the body depends on water to survive; faith is the oxygen of the spirit. When faith fails life is at risk ( Luke 1: 1-38)”
