Kelechi Iheanacho hailed his Leicester City teammates despite their 6-3 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
Brendan Rodgers’ side went behind 4- O in the game, but put up a spirited display despite the defeat.
Iheanacho set up James Maddison and Ademola Lookman goals and was also on target in the game.
The Nigeria international took to the social media to laud his teammates for the character and team spirit shown in the defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
“Not the result we wanted, but we showed our character and team spirit in the second half,” Iheanacho wrote on his official social media account.
“Thank you to all the fans that came out to support.”
