Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has assured Wilfred Ndidi he is still part of his plans, reports Prompt News.
Ndidi has been omitted from the starting line-up in Leicester City’s last three games.
The Nigeria international missed the latter part of last season’s campaign due to knee injury.
The 26-year-old has also struggled to stay fit this season.
“We’ve got a really busy schedule in January,” Rodgers was quoted by Leicester Mercury.
“I had a sit-down with him and an honest conversation with him. He has struggled with injuries.
“It’s sometimes coming away from the team and working on the training field. I can see his freshness. There’s no doubt over the coming weeks he will get opportunities.”
