
By Victoria Hanson Lagos State House of Assembly members on Tuesday commiserated with the families of Abubakar, the All progressive Congress, the Kogi state Government and the people of the state over the demised of prince AUDU ABUBAKAR who until his death was the governorship candidate of APC in his state.
The lawmakers expressed shock over his sudden departure and however described his departure as unfortunate, devastated and irreparable one,owing to the fact that he died before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) could conclude the election.
Hon. Abiodun Tobun representing Epe constituency 1, in his prayer said that there is need for the House to commiserate with the family of the deceased, the good people of Kogi state and members of All progressive Congress, by writing condolence letters to them respectively.
Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi representing Ojo constituency II in his word said ” prince AUDU ABUBAKAR is a man of high repute and an intelligent politician.
The wailing attendance of the people during his burial shows that he is of good behavior, “I commiserate with the family and the leader of APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I pray God to give us the fortitude to bear the loss”.
“I proposed that we pay tribute to the departed soul.It is a very painful loss because he departed without saying good bye and I therefore implore INEC to do the needful by-elections and announcing the winner “Hon Ogundimu stated.
Hon Omotayo Oduntan said” It was like a bad joke that will soon filter away when I heard the news and I pray the almighty God to grant him eternal rest “she stated.
