A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount her unexpected experience during the 2025 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) audition, expressing concerns over the registration process and transparency.
According to her account, she arrived at the audition venue only to find it overcrowded with hopeful contestants.
To her surprise, she claimed that attendees were required to pay a registration fee of N1,600.
She further expressed her disappointment, stating that although the organizers encouraged participants to show up as their “authentic selves,” it seemed like preference was given to individuals who dressed provocatively.
The lady went on to suggest that the audition process may have been a mere formality, alleging that the show’s organizers might have already selected the participants ahead of time.
In her words:
“If you’re planning to audition for BBNaija, I’m not discouraging you, but hear me out.
I just returned from the 2025 Big Brother audition. I’m not bitter, and I understand it’s a 50/50 chance. But can someone explain why we’re being asked to pay N1,600 just to register?
They already know the kind of people they want—if they haven’t picked them already. So, don’t waste your time.”
Her experience has sparked discussions online about the credibility and fairness of the audition process.
