Angered by the attitude of some of its members, the Labour Party (LP) has warned its members across the country to desist from destructive criticisms of the party especially the national leadership headed by Comrade (Barrister) Julius Abure.
Specifically, the party has warned those masquerading as its members including Diokpa Delly Ajufo, Zariyi Yusuf, Hon. Keftin Amuga, Dr. Peter Piper, Igwe K.C, Tony Magnifiquedude Asekome, Alhaji Audie Mohammed, Prof Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr., and the various bodies they represent, to desist from destructive criticisms of Labour Party National Chairman.
The party issued the warning in a press
statement made available to journalists in Abuja and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Obiora Ifoh, titled “Post-election: Avoid destructive criticism, join in rebuilding, Labour Party warns“.
Ifoh drew attention to a social media publication titled “Time Up Julius Abure, We Demand A Labour Party That Must Stand For The Masses Of Our People“, authored and signed by the above mentioned persons. READ ALSO:

He noted that the signatories are not card-carrying members of the party, hence wondered their interest to vilify the Abure leadership and destroy the facts of humongous achievements made by the present leadership in so short a time.
He lamented that the allegations “conjured” are purely for the purpose of slander and muckraking, myopic and baseless.
