The board of Kwara U-12 Young Elite Group (YEG) League has signed a sponsorship deal with Mobrimah Foundation and Beyond Creativity media firm.
The Chief Operating Officer of the league, Ibrahim Jatto, while signing the deal on Thursday in Ilorin, said the it will go a long way in achieving the core values of the league.
“This is a ground breaking deal which signals a new dawn for football development in Kwara and Nigeria.
“We are happy to have our sponsors join us in making history as we invest in the future of football in Nigeria,”he said.
Also speaking, representative of the foundation, Abdullah Abdulhameed, said that the sponsorship drive was inspired by the policy thrust of the foundation.
“The league has created a platform for young footballers to display their talents and we believe that the synergy between us and the league board will aid their long term aspirations, “he said.
In a remark, the representative of the Beyond creativity media firm, Abdullahi Loke, said the synergy would continue to be a reference point in football development in Nigeria.
The deal will cover logistics, provision of matchday and monthly awards to players and coaches, training materials for all the 12 teams taking part in the league.
Other benefits are provision of media coverage and leverage and hosting a gala and award night at the end of the season to celebrate all the stakeholders. (NAN)
