The people of Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State have commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Aminu Masari for their untiring efforts at providing security in the area.
Alhaji Shehu Takoki, Spokesman for the community, stated this when he led the people of the area on a Sallah homage to Masari at the Government House in Katsina on Wednesday.
Takoki, who is also the Deputy Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly, said that the efforts of Buhari and Masari to secure people’s lives and property from bandits, kidnappers, cattle rustlers and other criminal was highly commendable.
“We don’t know how to thank these people for the security we are enjoying because of their efforts in our domain.
“We want President Buhari and Governor Masari to still intensify efforts and provide more security to us as rainy season is here to enable people to go to their farms,” the lawmaker said.
In his response, Masari assured that the present administration at all levels was committed to securing the lives and property of its citizens. (NAN).
