Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has condemned the actions of Netizens sharing the death rumour of veteran thespian Olu Jacobs.
Without official confirmation, the rumour of Jacobs’ death was spread online on Sunday.
Reacting to the news spreading on social media, Henshaw, who is also the Director of Communications for the Actors Guild of Nigeria, wrote on X.com, “How you people put up RIP posts about someone who is still alive, year in and year out, is very sickening.
“You do this to this great man and his family all the time! It is all shades of wrong! Stop, for goodness sake! Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive!”.

“Who knows? And no one will bother to confirm? Imagine people calling Aunty Joke up and down! Haba!” she exclaimed.
Prompt News earlier reported that Olu Jacob was seen having his haircut in a new video, replying to a man believed to be his son who told him “dad, they said you died”.
The Nollywood legend laughed and replied, “na lie”.
