The people of Karshi, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory will on Thursday, 21st July honour the players and officials of the victorious FOSLA Academy Secondary School that won the silver medals at the 2016 NNPC/Shell Football Competition for All Nigerian Secondary School, and the School’s U-15 boys that won the bronze medals at the just concluded COPA/COCACOLA U-15 Football Competition.
In a release made available in Abuja, the contingent would be received by the Emir of Karshi Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed. According to the Palace Secretary Alhaji .A. Murthar “the community is very proud of this boys who have done us very proud in the country. This is a school that came into existence only five years ago, and within the last one year, they have succeeded in positively projecting the image of this community and FCT to the outside world. We want to receive them, and commend all their efforts. We are happy with them, and are of the strong belief that with more support, they would win more laurel for FCT and Nigeria in general” he concluded.
The programme which is expected to hold at the Emir’s palace, will see the Proprietor of the School Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi leading the boys to the occasion.
