The management of Kano State Football Club, Kano Pillars, unveiled Coach Paul Offor as new Technical Adviser for a one-year contract.
The Chairman of the club, Umar Babangida, promised him favourable working environment during the unveiling in Kano on Friday.
He expressed optimism in Offor’s ability to deliver the mandate given to him.
Babangida said the move is in line with the team’s preparations toward a successful outing in the 2024/2025 season.
He appealed to the people of the state and the club’s teeming supporters to be patient and pray for success.
The chairman assured that the club would aim for laurels in the new season.
Offor said he is honoured to be appointed as technical adviser of the club.
He thanked the club’s management for giving him the chance to serve and contribute to the development of football in the state.
The new technical adviser assured his best to transform the club and enhance the performance of players.
Offor, former coach of Warri Wolves, Sporting Lagos and Djeffa Benin Republic, however, appealed for support and cooperation from fans.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Offor holds a EUFA C and CAF C licence, and currently pursuing his CAF B licence.
He is to replace Abdullahi Maikaba, who served for one season.(NAN).
