French Football Federation (FFF) has released a 30-team roster for the upcoming two international friendly matches against Nigeria on Saturday, November 30 in Angers and Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Nice respectively.
This is even as Nigeria’s senior women’s football team Super Falcons are yet to open camp barely a week to the match with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) keeping mute over the trip or when the team will open camp and when the players will report to camp.
Included in the list of the players to play the Super Falcons are the familiar faces like attackers Paris St. Germaine’s Marie-Antoniette Katoto; Naomie Feller of Real Madrid CFF; Manchester City’s Melvine Malard; Olympique Lynonnais’ Eugenie Le Sommer and Delphine Cascarino of San Diego Wave FC and Clara Meteo who plays with Nigeria’s goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in Paris FC.
Others in the France squad are midfielders Chelsea FC duo of Sandy Baltimore and Oriane Jean-Francois; Kenza Dali of Aston Villa; Sandie Toletti of Real Madrid and Amel Majri of Olympique Lynonnais.
Defenders are veteran Renard Wendi of Olympique Lynonnais; Estelle Cascarino of Juventus Ladies; Selma Bacha of Olympique Lynonnais and Paris Fc Lou Bogaert as well as four goalkeepers including Juventus Ladies’ Pauline Payraud-Magnin and Constance Picaud of FC Fleury.
Meanwhile, the NFF is yet to release the list of players invited for the international friendly against France in Angers next week as efforts made by Prompt News to extract information from the federation on when the Super Falcons will open their camp and where the players will gather did not yield any fruits as top officials of the football house did not pick up their calls.
