Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, is billed to proceed to London, the United Kingdom, for a routine medical check-up.
According to a terse statement by Presidential Media Adviser, Femi Adesina, “the President meets with Security Chiefs first in the morning, after which he embarks on the journey.”
However, the statement is silent on whether the President would be transmitting a letter to the National Assembly for his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, to act as President while he’s away.
Mr. Buhari is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021, Adesina said.
