Sequel to the recommendation of the National Judicial Council, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as a judge of the Supreme Court.
The Acting Director of Information, Soji Oye, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday.
He said the Judge will be sworn-in by Justice Mariam Aloma Muktar, the Chief Jusctice of the Federation (CJN) on July 8, 2013 at the Supreme Court.
Justice Kekere-Ekun’s nomination had earlier been confirmed by the Senate on June 26, 2013.
