Alex Iwobi claimed Fulham deserved the victory against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Whites defeated Erik ten Hag’s men 2-1 in front of their fans.
Calvin Bassey opened scoring for Fulham on 65 minutes with Timothy Castagne providing the assist.
Centre-back back Harry Maguire then equalised for United a minute from regulation time.
Iwobi fired home the decisive goal deep into stoppage time.
“We always had the ability to create chances, we had so many in the final third, it was just about taking them and luckily I was able to take mine at the end,” he told the club’s official website. READ ALSO:
