By Olusegun Lawrence Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday ordered that the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu be remanded in Kuje Prison.
The order was sequel to a request by counsel to Kanu, Chuks Muomah that his client be transferred to prison.
Prior to the transfer order, Kanu had been kept in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS for allegedly plotting against the federal government.
The counsel had told the court that Kanu has remained incommunicado since he was detained in the custody of the DSS hence, the transfer request.
