Confederation of African Football (CAF) has invited the vice chairman of Lobi Stars of Makurdi, Dominic Iorfa to its maiden edition of African Club Association (ACA) meeting billed to hold October 5, 2023 in Cairo, Egypt.
The invitation to the meeting was duly signed by CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo Omba dated September 15.2023.
However, a press statement issued by Lobi Stars director of media, Emmanuel Ujah, on Saturday reads, “We can confirm that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has invited Mr. Dominic Iorfa, Lobi Stars Football Vice Chairman/ CEO, to the maiden meeting of the African Club Association (ACA).

“The invitation of Mr. Dominic Iorfa to be a foundational member of the African Club Association (ACA) is a testament to the club’s commitment to the development of Football in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
“As such, having an ex international as the Club Vice Chairman/CEO has positioned Lobi Stars FC’s image for recognition in Africa. We are looking forward to the positives of the Association,” the statement concluded.
