The Italian club confirmed the arrival of the Nigeria international on Saturday, with Payne signing a contract that will keep her at the Nerazzurri until 30 June 2028.

She played a key role as the Super Falcons won a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco in 2024.
Payne has also been included in head coach Justine Madugu’s 25-player squad for the 2026 WAFCON finals, where Nigeria will aim to successfully defend their continental crown.
