Inter Milan legend, Alesandro Mazzola has described Victor Osimhen as the star of current Napoli team, reports Prompt News.
Osimhen has been a consistent performer for Napoli since moving to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in 2020.
The Nigeria international has been a central figure in Napoli’s push for a first league title in over two decades this season.
The Partenopei are unbeaten in Serie A this term and enjoyed an eight-point lead at the top of the log.
Osimhen is top scorer in the league with nine goals from 11 outings.
When asked on Area Napoli to reveal his favorite player at the Naples club, Mazzola said: “I confess that I have a ‘soft spot’ for Victor Osimhen and not since today.
“I have always liked him, I love his way of playing, how he knows how to ‘hide’ and then be decisive.
“The Nigerian is a footballer who makes the difference, the star of the team.”
