True to its promise, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have reconvened and resumed the collation and announcement of results for Saturday’s Supplementary Governorship Election in Adamawa state.
Prompt News reports INEC on Sunday suspended collation for Saturday’s supplementary governorship election after the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Hudu Yunusa-Ari announced Aisha Dahiru-Ahmed ‘Binani’ of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.
The Commission quickly nullified the illegal pronouncement, suspended the erring Hudu and promised to conclude the exercise as soon as possible.
As at the time of this report, the remaining collated results have been announced and the appointed INEC Returning Officer working out the total results to be able to make the final Declaration.
