The deceased was reportedly found unresponsive within the school’s hostel premises in the Victoria Island area of the state on Friday.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the incident, saying the matter was reported by the hostel matron, after which police operatives visited the scene.

“I can confirm the incident. The deceased was reportedly found unresponsive within the hostel premises. The matron reported the matter, prompting police operatives to visit the scene.
“Her body has been evacuated to a morgue for preservation,” the police spokesperson said.
A security analyst, Zagazola Makama, who also reported the incident, said the student was discovered at the hostel on Friday morning, after which the matter was brought to the attention of the institution’s authorities.
