Getafe president Ángel Torres has revealed that the club is open to selling Christantus Uche this summer if a suitable offer arrives, Prompt News Online reports.
Uche spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Premier League side Crystal Palace but struggled to make a significant impact during his spell in England.
The 23-year-old made 14 league appearances for the Eagles without registering a goal or an assist. However, he managed to score twice in four UEFA Europa Conference League appearances.
Crystal Palace have opted against activating their purchase option for the attacking midfielder after he failed to meet the performance-related conditions outlined in the agreement.
Speaking on the player’s future, Torres stated that Getafe would not hesitate to sanction Uche’s departure should the club receive an attractive offer.
“Uche has a contract with Palace until the 30th, so we can’t do anything. He doesn’t mind coming back, and the coach wants him. If there’s an offer and we agree on it, we’ll sell him,” Torres told spherasports.com.
The Nigeria international joined Getafe from AD Ceuta FC in 2024.
