The New Africa-France Summit began in Montpellier, France on Friday to boost the framework for young people to tackle modern challenges globally.
A statement by the Embassy of France in Abuja, said the event would centre on a new format, new actors, new themes and new challenges to achieve desired goals.
“The aim of this event is to take a fresh look at the relationship between Africa and France, in order to offer a new framework for reflection and action to new generations.
“Nigeria will be particularly highlighted during this summit with a total of 50 guests, half of whom will be young entrepreneurs and start-ups.
“Particularly in the fields of energy, health and fin-tech, and half representatives of civil society,’’ the statement read in part.
It said that the event would feature morning and afternoon thematic sessions and broadcast live via the Summit website: https://sommetafriquefrance.org/en/
