No fewer than four men have been arrested and one motorcycle recovered in relation to the kidnapping of the wife of Eggon Youth President in Nasarawa state, Daniel Anyabuga.
On Monday night, armed men in their numbers, stormed the residence of the Eggon Youth President at Ombi 2 between 10pm and 11pm, zooming off with his wife to an unknown destination.
The Commissioner of police in Nasarawa state, Bola Longe on a telephone conversation disclosed that four persons have been arrested while one of the motorcycles used for the operation has also been recovered.
According to the police chief, two out of the four arrested are Fulani herders while the other two are indigenes of the state.
He affirmed that the kidnappers are being questioned and the police working tirelessly to ensure the rescue of the kidnap victim.
Longe called on members of the public to give any useful information that could lead to the arrest of kidnappers.
