Former Reps Member Dumps PDP For APC in Nasarawa

By Mohammed Yangida, Lafia                A former House of Representatives member, Mohammed Al-Makura has dumped the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Al-Makura, who once represented Lafia / Obi federal constituency in Nasarawa State, announced this to newsmen on Friday in Lafia,
He anchored his decision on the current political wind blowing across the country in which the political fortune of PDP is dwindling and nose diving negatively by the day resulting into mass movement of real and genuine progressives from the party to APC.
According to him, collective decision was reached after a careful analysis of numerous problems bedevilling the party in the State, with its attendant consequences and injustice that forced out respected members of the party.
His words, “as a two-time duly elected representative of my people, I was subjected to all forms of humiliation, disgrace and distrust by the party after spending over a decade trying to build the fortune of the party to an enviable height.”
