The Super Falcons fell two places in the women’s world rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Friday.
It was the first women’s world ranking for 2024.
The Super Falcons recorded a win and draw in their only outings in 2024 but that didn’t prevent tye West Africans from sliding down in the ranking.
Randy Waldrum’s side dropped from 32nd to 34th position.
The Super Falcons however maintained top position in Africa.
Reigning African champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa occupy second position on the continent.
Desiree Ellis’ side moved up one place in the world rankings to 51st.
Morocco are third on the continent, while occupying 58th position in the world. READ ALSO:
