The nine time African champions are ranked in 36th position in the world.
The West Africans are Africa’s highest ranked team.
Randy Waldrum’s side will be in action at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris later this year.
South Africa and Morocco are the second and third highest ranked teams on the continent.
World champions La Roja of Spain consolidated on their position as the number one team in the world.

Germany also leagfrogged USA into fourth position.
