Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson has said Leon Balogun is back in training following an injury layoff.
Balogun has not make an appearance for the Light Blues since sustaining an injury in the UEFA Europa League clash with Manchester United at the Old Trafford last month.
The 36-year-old featured for 45 minutes in the game.
The experienced defender was replaced by Ross McCausland after the break.
The centre-back is now in line to make his return in Saturday’s clash at the Ibrox.
“Balogun, Souttar and Sterling trained today – just need to see reactions after training. It was great to have them back and I will touch base with medical team in the morning,” Ferguson told a press conference on Friday.
The former Wigan Athletic player has scored once in 13 league appearances for Rangers this season.
