Nigerian winger Femi Azeez has expressed his delight after completing a move to Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, Prompt News Online reports.
Azeez joined the Seagulls from Sky Bet Championship side Millwall on transfer deadline day.
Brighton reportedly paid €15m for the 25-year-old, making him the most expensive sale in Millwall’s history.
The winger earned the move following an impressive 2025/26 campaign with the Lions.
Azeez scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 37 league appearances last season and was also named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season.
The former Reading player described the opportunity to play in the Premier League as a dream come true.
“It’s every young boy’s dream, isn’t it? Something I’ve been dreaming of for my whole life, and to be given this opportunity is like a dream come true really,” Azeez told the club’s official website.
“I’m going to take this opportunity. I’m going to work hard. I want to be successful here, so I’m over the moon.”
