The executive and members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), FCT chapter heartily congratulate Maj-Gen. Kenneth Tobiah Jacob Minimah on his well deserved appointment as the Chief of Army Staff (C0AS) by President Goodluck Jonathan.
FCT SWAN is excited that Minimah, who also doubles as the President of the Nigeria Boxing Federation is considered a very capable hand to lead the Nigeria Army to greatness.
SWAN therefore joins millions of Nigerians in wishing the new Chief of Army Staff all the very best in this new assignment.
FCT SWAN prays that the Boxing Federation will greatly benefit from this new assignment. The association is confident that he will succeed in this onerous assignment despite the security challenge.
Kayode Adeniyi, FCT SWAN Chairman says, “We have no doubt that the General will excel in both task. Nigeria Boxing federation is indeed blessed to have somebody in that position as its president. We know that as Chief of Army Staff, he definitely will be so busy, but we encourage him to still create time for the boxing Federation”.
