The Board of Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCT.FA, has announced March 14, 2024 to conduct Local Council Football elections in the the six area councils Kuje, Gwagwalada, Bwari, AMAC, Kwali and Abaji.
This was made known in a Communiqué released at the end of board meeting held on Saturday at Area 10 Secretariat.
The board also approved 14th February, 2024 for the commencement of FCT FA League.
It commended the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike for his leadership quality and appealed to him for the early completion of Area Council Mini Stadium.
The board commended the Director of Sports for his unflinching support for the FCT. F.A towards development of grassroots football in the territory.

Due to precarious situation of FCT, Nigeria National League Clubs, the board agreed to support the clubs to escape relegation and promise to pay visit to the clubs.
