Nigeria’s Falconets have touched down in Poland ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Prompt News Online reports.
Following their arrival, the team will now concentrate on the final phase of preparations, with training sessions expected to focus on fitness, tactics and overall match readiness.
The Falconets had earlier spent several weeks in camp in Abuja, where they underwent intensive training and featured in a number of friendly matches.
As part of their final build-up to the tournament, Moses Aduku’s side will play warm-up matches against hosts Poland and Korea Republic.
Aduku announced his final 21-player squad for the competition shortly before the team departed Nigeria.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.
The Falconets will kick off their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.
They will remain at the same venue for their second group game against China three days later.
Nigeria will then face New Caledonia in their final group fixture at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, 13 September.
The Falconets will be determined to make a strong impact in Poland as they bid for a successful outing at the global competition.
