Nigeria’s National U-20 Women’s Football Team, Falconets are set for the battle of Dar es Salaam for Sunday’s second leg match between Nigeria and Tanzania.
Chief Coach, Christopher Danjuma disclosed in Abuja Tuesday evening that his team is primed for an away victory no matter what the hosts will come up with.
According to the experienced women’s football tactician, the Falconets are aware of the task ahead and will not leave any stone unturned to complete the good job they started in Benin City, Edo State a fortnight ago.
“I will like to assure Nigerians that my players will hold their own against the Tanzanites of Tanzania on Sunday.
“We missed alot of goals in the first leg but still won by 3-0. We have worked on our mistakes and I believe we shall beat them in their home too”. Danjuma boasted.
Meanwhile, the Falconets will depart Nigeria on Thursday in order to have two full training sessions in Dar es Salaam before the crucial tie on Sunday.
Nigeria had qualified for all the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals. France will host the next event in 2018.
