Apparently disturbed by the rising cases of examination malpractice across the country, an expert, Dr. Christine Udoh-Emokhare, has enjoined government at all levels and stakeholders to deploy technology to curb the menace.
Dr. Udoh-Emokhare, a senior official at the National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, who gave the advice, said Close Circuit Television (CCTV) should be deployed for examination supervision.
She spoke on Wednesday, while featuring on a Pensioners FM (Ibadan) programme, ‘Arewa Wura’ (Golden Beauty).
According to her, the use of technology would reduce the rampant cases of examination malpractice among students.
The NABTEB official also called on the federal and state governments to allocate more funds for the use of technology to augment human efforts.
