Victor Osimhen was not part of Galatasaray’s travelling party to Latvia for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash against Rigas FS.
The 25-year-old was omitted from the squad due to a muscle injury.
Osimhen sustained the injury in Galatasaray’s thrilling 3-3 home draw against Kasimpasa last Saturday.
The Nigeria international,who scored twice in the encounter was replaced by Dries Mertens after the break.
24 players made the trip to Dugava for the matchday two encounter.
The striker is also doubtful for Nigeria’s upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
