Tottenham Hotspur plunged deeper into relegation zone after falling 3-0 at home to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
It was the visitors that settled quickest in the game pinning the hosts back.
Igor Jesus gave Forest the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Jesus headed Kevin Danso’s long throw against his own post.
Nottingham Forest doubled their lead to through Morgan Gibbs-White in the 66th minute.
Spurs never overly threatened to get back into the game, with a stinging volley from Pape Matar Sarr, which was well blocked by Ibrahim Sangaré, about as close as they came to salvaging a crumb of pride.
Substitute Taiwo Awoniyi turned home Neco Williams’ delivery three minutes before the break.
