The Cherries led 2-0 in the first half but Liverpool fought back in the second half.
Evanilson gave the home team the lead in the 26th minute.
Álex Jiménez doubled the advantage for Bournemouth seven minutes later.
Liverpool reduced the deficit through Virgil van Dijk.
The Reds thought they had secured a draw after Dominik Szoboszlai’s 80th-minute free kick.
Amine Adli however struck deep into stoppage time to hand Bournemouth all three points.
